  Here you will find articles and information aimed at new and intermediate Texas Hold 'Em players. These articles are short, to the point and not math heavy. I put up new information regularly, so come back often! I list places where you can find a game; and I review poker books, so that you can deepen and expand your poker knowledge, but not waste money on books that are poorly written or that offer bad advice.

  As a new player you will probably be playing in low-limit and small-stakes games. This site is aimed at players who play in these types of games. If you haven't already bought my book, Quick and Easy Texas Hold 'Em (the first pokers instructional book with a DVD) do so immediately! I believe it is the quickest, easiest, and best way to learn this game or improve your skills if you play already. It will entertain you, improve your poker (if you follow my advice that is!) and your purchase will help feed my family; all very worthy causes in my estimation!   If you prefer to learn by watching rather than reading then check out my new poker instructional DVD series.
